“Wow, wow, wow!! Five stars!!” #review of HER LAST SECRET via @bcshaz
I’m in the in-between place, where HER LAST SECRET is available on pre-order, and is in the hands of reviewers who are reading it, but it hasn’t yet been published. All I can do is wait, rather nervously, for the verdicts to come rolling in – and one early review is from the wonderful Stardust Book Reviews…
And I’m so thrilled and relieved to reveal it is fabulous 5* review!
First, let me tell you a little about Stardust Reviews. According to the ‘About Me’ section, it’s run by Sharon, who works in a library and has been a huge book fan for as long as she can remember – and now she uses her job and blog to spread that passion.
“Reading takes me to places that I wouldn’t ever be able to go to! There is nothing better than curling up with a good book and getting lost in the moment,” she says. “I love the books that you just don’t want to end. You read slowly so you can make it last, but you want to read it faster to find out what happens.
“I love to use my knowledge of books to recommend library users different books. I see people browsing through the shelves, not knowing what to pick, and I go up and say “try this one” or “this might be for you” and they then come back weeks later and thank you for suggesting such a good book! My work is done and I’m happy!”
I feel so proud that someone with such extensive knowledge, and incredible love of books and crime thrillers, has given HER LAST SECRET the thumbs up.
Stardust Reviews says of the psychological thriller: “The story of Dominique and her family twisted and turned so much it made me feel giddy!”
She adds: “The suspense built up slowly from the beginning, given you chance to think you knew where it was going before it hit you and turned you down a new path.
