Firstly, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU for yesterday and all the amazing support my cover reveal received from lovely book bloggers. It’s been three years since my last book was out, and this is a different genre, a different name, but the one thing that stayed the same is the blogging community – community being the operative word.
Special thanks to those who, with just two days notice, dropped everything to sort a post on their blog for me. Karen Hilton, Shell Baker, Joanne Baird, Linda Hill, Anne Williams, Emma Welton, and Eva at @noveldeelights (I can’t seem to tag you, sorry) – you are all absolute stars and I’m so grateful to you
I was kept so busy with thanking and sharing RTs etc that I didn’t have the chance to pop anything on my own blog about the cover reveal! So without further ado, here’s the gorgeous cover for Estella’s Revenge.
I may be a little biased, but I can’t keep my eyes off this! I love how colourful and eye-catching it is, yet it remains dark, overgrown and twisty, just like the gardens of Satis House and the secrets that hide there. It is beautiful, but deadly – there’s even a scorpion hiding there…that hints at so much that Estella hides inside herself and struggles with. The skulls, the pineapple, the knives, the almost-buried clock…everything on there has meaning that resonates with the story inside. Oh, I can’t wait to share with you what is inside Estella’s Revenge! For not, though, all I can tease you with is the description:
You know Miss Havisham.
The world’s most famous jilted bride.
This is her daughter’s story.
Raised in the darkness of Satis House where the clocks never tick, the beautiful Estella is bred to hate men and to keep her heart cold as the grave.
She knows she doesn’t feel things quite like other people do but is this just the result of her strange upbringing?
As she watches the brutal treatment of women around her, hatred hardens into a core of vengeance and when she finds herself married to the abusive Drummle, she is forced to make a deadly choice:
Should she embrace the darkness within her and exact her revenge?
Estella’s Revenge is a stunningly original, gripping Gothic read, perfect for fans of Stacey Halls, Eve Chase and Jessie Burton.
