What do you think? Is Invisible ready to handle a higher profile?
Sometimes, it takes someone from the outside to point out something that should be obvious from the inside. The other day, I was lucky enough to receive a fabulous Five Star review for Invisible, the first novel I published. And it suddenly occurred to me: I never talk about Invisible. I’ll happily bang on about Flowers For The Dead until the cows come home, but Invisible is…well, invisible in my thoughts.
Which seems a shame, considering it is a book Sarah described as “Quietly brilliant.”
Deciding that I needed to rectify this, I’ve started with giving the cover a bit of a spruce up. It’s just a little tweak here and there, courtesy of my incredible cover designer, Paul Humphreys, but I think it’s an improvement.
I’m even making some Twitter banners for it. Going through review quotes for this has also been a confidence boost, and made me wonder why I’ve been so reticent about Invisible.
What do you think? Is Invisible ready to handle a higher profile? 🙂
