A killer’s whisper #writinginspiration #writing #amwriting

The sun was glorious today, so I decided to abandon my laptop and writing cave. Instead, I grabbed a notebook and headed to my local park.

Sitting in the sunshine was so relaxing!

Closing my eyes, I let my mind wander. Listened to the wind in the trees. The birdsong surrounding me. Crows calling, and flapping their wings in the stream as they had a spring clean.

And a killer whispered in my ear.

The best thing about writing is that I never know when an idea is going to strike. And there, when I expected it least, the baddie in my latest crime thriller revealed himself to me.

My eyes flew open, I grabbed my pen, and started to write as quickly as I could, while I could still ‘hear’ him. Ooh, I’m glad I did! He has such a fascinating voice.

I can’t wait to write more and get to know him. I hope you’re going to like him as much as I do!
